Old Windsor, in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, is four miles North West of Staines on the south bank of the River Thames, two and a half miles southeast of the famous town of Windsor. Windsor Great Park is to its west and it is near to the village of Englefield Green.

Locally there are many opportunities for fishing and boating and fishing enthusiasts can join the Old Windsor Angling Club. Despite many recent housing development adjacent to the main roads, the towpath walks along the River Thames retain their rural charm.

On the outskirts of Old Windsor you will find the Windsor Farm Shop first opened in 2001 after an idea proposed by HRH Prince Philip. The Royal Farms have been providing the Windsor Farm Shop with high quality beef, pork and lamb from the Royal Farms since it opened. It also stocks products from from small local specialist suppliers.

Nearby you will also find The Old Windsor Rifle & Pistol Club (OWRPC) founded in 1977, it is open five evenings a week for members

If you are planning to move and have parking zones outside your home you can apply to the Royal Borough for a parking suspension. You can undertake this yourself or we can do this for you on your behalf. Applications to implement the suspension, must be made in advance with a notice period of 21-days (this includes the 14 day period for display of the notices). Please contact us if you require help.
